Note: Ad listings for paid advertisers and subscribers will remain on the system much longer

I signed up for an ad but I don't see it. Where is it?
It can take from 1 to 10 days for free ads to be included in our directory.
Paid ads may take from 1 to 5 days depending on our backlog and the
number of pages that we need to add you to.
Please be patient. Your ad will be posted in the Directory very soon.

How do I get the Daily Direct Sales Leads?
The daily leads are provided to our "Direct Sales Assist" (DSA) subscribers.

How do I get listed in the Assist Network Directory and Community Mashups?
There are several ways to get listed. The reason for a MashUp is that we can grab links from anywhere...

Yes. Simply list your Ryze Group URL instead of your Ryze Profile URL in the Ryze field
of the setup screen.

Why does my profile say "You have no active subscriptions" when I already paid?
Don't worry about this message! It usually means that you signed up using PayPal, StormPay or PayDotCom
subscription services. To keep you from being charged twice every month, we do not always post your
external subscriptions in the member database.
The best way to tell what you are a member of, is to look at your profile tags.
You will see tags like Gold: Y and Direct Sales Leads: Y that indicate to
our software what services and features you are entitled to.
These tags are also used, along with your zipcode, to pick the best directory pages to include your links on.
If you think that you have already paid and do not see these tags after 2 days, please contact the HelpDesk.
We will need your PayPal, StormPay or PayDotCom purchase # or subscription # to verify your payment.

Why was my account at ... deleted???
To remain a member at any of the Assist Network sister sites, such as the Auction site, Chatroom, Direct-Sales.info,
Forum, Assist Classifieds, Yahoo Groups, and our other portals, you MUST be a "Member" on the
Member Page
and keep in good standing. This is required to reduce the spamming that we sometimes get on our
family of web sites. We only want to "assist" Business Professionals!

To reduce your risk of being removed, please use the same username of ALL Assist Network sites!
Why is the Assist Network so complicated?
Good question.
Really, the Assist Network is easier to use than MySpace, Facebook and many other networks.
Why it seems complicated is because we aggregate the services of many sites and bring them all together
for you. There are Forums, Blogs, Auction site, Classified Advertising site, Chatrooms, etc.
That said, you get the benefits of having your links and content scattered around different Internet
properties. Your links and content will be index quicker and better by the search engines also!
Take it one step at a time. Your business and network will grow...
The best way to get started is to read this all of this FAQ and the "Grow Your Business" page for different tips.
1. You should start out by updating all the links on your profile page.
2. Then you should visit the Forum and start posting your content in various sections
that you have access to.
Once you are done, our system will automatically update your Member Profile Page with all
kinds of goodies. Our software will even track down content of your Blog, MySpace page and other
places to add more tags to the link "mashup" on your Member Profile Page.
So, the more things that you add, the more tags you will get. And it is all FREE!
Your login information for both the Profile page and the Forum should be the same.

I am a paid advertiser but no "Local Listings" show up for me. Why?
Chances are, your profile does not have a valid "zipcode" listed.
Platinum members get added as a "National" link on every page in the USA.
However, you can get additional "Local Listings" in your area if you also add your zipcode to your profile.
You will get about 600 additional "Local" links around your "home" zipcode area, at no additional cost.
In the event that you do not wish to reveal your "home" zipcode, simply
enter a zipcode that is close to your "home" zipcode.
The Assist Directory will help you find zipcodes in your area.

How do I become a Gold Member?
Gold members are linked to ALL of the zipcodes for an entire State as a Local Merchant listing!
You will be added to the Business Directory, the Community Mashups for your State, and
many additional Social and Business Network directory pages within your state.
If you are in a Direct Sales program, you can ask to be placed directly
on the landing pages for ALL cities in your State for your Direct Sales program.

How do I become a Platinum Member?
Platinum members are linked on ALL of the cities in the USA in our Business Directory.
We add these links for you. You can also post additional ads in our forum
for publication, plus many other benefits.
If you are in a Direct Sales program, you can ask to be placed directly
on ALL of the landing pages for your Direct Sales program.
You will be listed as a "National" rep for that program.

Why was my Business Name changed in my profile?
If you are a consultant for a Direct Sales program like Avon, Tupperware, etc.,
then you should use the name of that firm for your Business Name.
It must be "exactly" as it appears in our directory to maximize your ad placement.
Using a name like Tupperware of Toledo will only hurt your rankings
in the Assist Search Engine. You should simply use Tupperware as the name
in your profile. You should also use upper and lower case characters.
All UPPER case characters will hurt your search engine rankings badly!
Why was my Assist username deleted?
We will delete your account if you promote products or link to content
that is not family-friendly.
We will also remove your account if you spam our members and we get 3 complaints about your
business practices.
Why was my second Assist username deleted?
Each person is given one free account and can promote one business for free
in our network. If you are a representative for several businesses, then
you must become a paid subscriber to get them all listed.

How do I get in the Assist Affiliate Co-Op program?
The Assist Affiliate Co-Op program is part of our Direct Sales Assist
program. You can join here for only $5.95 per month and we will create
and host your affiliate pages for you automatically.

Why are my ads no longer listed in my area?
If you are a free member, it may be because your ads were already posted for one year.
The Assist Business Network is alo an advertising Co-Op. As such, it is possible
that another member has paid for their ads to be published in various cities.
As such, it is not fair to a paid member to have free members also listed
on pages that they have paid for as part of the advertising co-op.

I sent you email and never got an answer! Why?
At Assist Directory, we get over 3,000 email messages a day.
We use two levels of spam filters, so we often will never see your email
if it does not get through our filter.
The best way to contact us is to visit the forum.

Since there are so many services and benefits available, we suggest that you take a few minutes to read
over the posts to see if your questions has already been answered.
I forgot my Username and Password! I can't login! What is it?
Many of our systems will send you your password if you can remember your username or email address.
Where most people get confused is when they use a different username, password or email address
on our various platforms.
We suggest that you first locate your username. Click Here
Then try to login using the correct username and ask the system to send you your password.
In some cases, you may have a different password on the Forum, the Blog site, the Auction site,
the eStore site, the Expo site or the Classified site. We suggest that you use the same
username, password and email address on all of these services.
If not, there is little that we can do to assist you, since some of these systems
encrypt your password and even we can not see it.
In the event that you need to contact our HelpDesk to resolve a password issue, we will need your
name, username, email address and URL that you are trying to login to before we can begin to help you.
How do I change my phone number on the Member Page?
To edit your Name, Phone number, email, Business name and URL links, please visit:

I can't find my Member Page. Where is it?
Your member page should be linked into the Member Directory. If you have been inactive for a long time, your page may be inactive. Contact out HelpDesk to have it re-activated.

How do I add a Business Opportunity to my Member Page?
There are two places that you can promote your Business Opportunity.
The first is in your Member Profile. To edit your Member Profile, Click Here:

Then Click on the "Change Password/Edit Profile" link and include you Business Opportunity and URL link on the form.
These listings are placed on various pages in the Assist Business Directory.
The second place is in the Assist Forum. To Login to the Forum, Click Here:

To edit your Business Opportunity, Specials, Next Event and other messages on your member page.
please visit the forum and post your ads.
In the forum there is an area titled Links Pages Section.
The information that you post in this section is used to create and update the text on your Member Page.
There are places to post your Business Opportunity, Specials, Next Event and more.
At the bottom of your Member Page are links that you can also click on to edit your information.
Please note that any changes you make to your Members page may take up to 24
hours to be included on your Member page.
We suggest that you use your Assist Member Page URL in your email signtature
line since it has all of the ways to contact you listed on it. This is a very effective advertising tool.
How do I get a Featured eStore in the Assist Auction Site?
There are three ways that you can get a Featured eStore in the Assist Auction Site.
The first is to join the Direct Sales Assist program:

As a DSA subscriber, your eStore and Auction Listings are totally FREE!
If your account runs out of credits, just ask our HelpDesk and we will add more
credits as long as you are a monthly subscriber.
The second way is to purchase additional credits on the WAHM-Auction page:

The third way is simply to make your purchase directly on the eStore site:

How do I add a Banner to the Assist Banner Exchange?
You can include a banner graphic and URL in your Member Profile.
To edit your Member Profile, Click Here:

Then Click on the "Change Password/Edit Profile" link and include your Banner Graphic and Banner URL
on the form.
These banners are placed on various and random pages in the Assist Business Directory.
How do I add a Coupon to my Member Page and the Coupon Directory?
You can include a Coupon with text and a URL link in your Member Profile.
To edit your Member Profile, Click Here:
Login
Then Click on the "Change Password/Edit Profile" link and include your Coupon Text and Coupon URL
on the form.
These coupons are added to our Coupon Pages, but only if they are current coupons.
Be sure to updated your profile often to keep your coupon up to date.
You can also offer special Member-To-Member coupons by posting them in the
Forum.
I paid for an ad but my account does not show that I paid. Why?
In most cases, your profile does NOT contain the same PayPal address that you used to pay for your ads.
We do try to match your PayPal name with your profile name if we can. But if you have changed your last name recently or
you use a PayPal Business Account to pay, then PayPal does not always send us the same name that is in your profile.
We have no way of knowing that "Susie Jones" is the same person as "The Unique Gift Shop" if that is what
PayPal sends to us with your order.
You can always send your PayPal receipt to our HelpDesk to get your account setup correctly.

I have 57 downline reps for my program. How do I get them all added?
Two ways...
You can have each rep join the Assist Business Network and put your Business Name as their Business # 1 Name
in their profile and they will get added to our Business Directory. Their URL should also link to their specific page on
your website if possible.
We also can "bulk load" many members at one time. Contact our HelpDesk for more details and to get setup.

I signed up for the Direct Sales Assist program. How do I get my free eStore?
To open your eStore, you must create another account on the Auction and eStore site.
This is a seperate website and has its own accounting system.
Be sure to use the same username that you used on the Assist Member System
to keep your eStore from being removed.

Then Click on "Register" to get registered.
You will NOT be able to post items until your eStore account is approved.
Usually, we will do this within 24 hours and credit your account with $5.00 so that you
can start posting. If you try to post items before then, it may tell you that you have
no credits.
I signed up for the Direct Sales Assist program. How do I get my free Blog?
To open your Blog, you must create another account on the Blog site. This is also a
seperate website.
Be sure to use the same username that you used on the Assist Member System
to keep your Blog from being removed.

If you create a Blog, please be sure to post to it once a month or more.
Idle blogs will be deleted, since we have to pay a monthly fee for each one that we host.
We also pay monthly fees to have your Blog entries submitted to various Blog Directories!
How do I get listed everywhere in the Directory?
There are three ways to get additional listings in the Directory.
1. A Lifetime Gold listing will get you placed on
ALL of the zip codes for a 200 mile radius, or 1 State, for a one-time cost.
